Loving Father God, I confess that I have been trying to sort things out in my own life for far too long, rather them handing over the reins of my life to You. Lord Jesus, I also know that I have been trying to carry the worries of others on my shoulders, and in my own strength, as well as dealing with my own concerns and anxieties. Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I can’t do this anymore, and want to cast everything on to You, in Jesus name, otherwise I know I will go under, and this is not Your will for my life, so please hear my plea and come to my rescue, and forgive me for trying to be self-dependent, instead of God-dependent. Dear Lord Jesus, Please hear my prayer. I go along each day, trying to run my life my own way. I forget to let go and give you complete control. I wonder why things aren't going the way I want them to go. I forget to stop and ask what you want, Lord God Jesus. Please help me to give you control. I want to follow you. I want what you desire for me. Help me to realize that when you close one door, you open the one you want me to walk through. Help me also to realize that what I desire may not be what is meant for me, or what is best for me. Maybe it will lead me away from what your great plan is for me. So my Lord Jesus, I give you my life, and give you full and total control of life to you, in Jesus name. Lord, let me accept each day as a gift. Let me follow the path you choose for me. Help me to be thankful for what you give me, and not to worry about my needs. I trust you will take care of all my needs, in Jesus name. Remind me that my role is to care for those around me, and focus on those who need my help. Help me not to be judgmental, as we are all equal in God's eyes. Help me to see the good in all of your creations. Let me leave the judging to you, dear Jesus. Instead, I will concentrate on living to please you. Help me dear Lord Jesus, be who and what you want me to be. Give me strength, faith and hope, and most of all, give me guidance each and every day. I let go everything and give you total control, in Jesus name. Thank You for Your many precious promises to help and comfort us, and to carry all our cares on Your shoulders. Lord Jesus, please carry me now in Your loving arms, and may I learn to abide in You, and not to try to do everything in my own strength. Thank You for the truth that Your grace is sufficient, and help me to truly apply this in my life from this day forward. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, amen.
