The Holy Bible bring us light for this important and key topic for our eternal souls, as described on Leviticus chapter 11 verse 44; "For I am the LORD your God Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy." and on Leviticus chapter 11 verse 45; "For I am the LORD... thus you shall be holy, for I am holy." and on Leviticus chapter 19 verse 2; "say to them, 'You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy." and on Leviticus chapter 20 verse 26; "Thus you are to be holy to Me, for I the LORD am holy; and I have set you apart from the peoples to be Mine." and on first of Peter chapter 1 verse 16; "because it is written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY." and on Leviticus chapter 20 verse 7; "You shall consecrate yourselves therefore and be holy, for I am the LORD your God." and on first of Peter chapter 1 verse 15; "but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior." and on Deuteronomy chapter 23 verse 14; "Since the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp.... therefore your camp must be holy; and He must not see anything indecent among you, or He will turn away from you." and on Ephesians chapter 1 verse 4; "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy, and without blame before him." and on Ephesians chapter 5 verse 27; "That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." And on Hebrews chapter 12 verse 14; "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord."
Therefore God cannot live a temple that is filthy and sinful. On this particular scenario, now we can understand the vesicles of James chapter 4 verse 4; "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." and on Hebrews chapter 10 from verses 26 to 27; "For if we sin wilfully, after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." And on Matthew chapter 7 from verses 21 to 23; "Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
